PORLASI is The Indonesia Sport Sailing Union was establish through The 2nd PEROPI Congress and on 15 April 1980 appointed as a member of Indonesia National Sporting Committee (KONI). PORLASI affiliated with the international organization such as International Sailing Federation (ISAF) and Asian Sailing Federation (ASF). PORLASI handling 18 Board of Region such as Nangroe Aceh Darussalam, Riau Islands, Riau, West Sumatera, South Sumatera, Lampung, Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Bali, East Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua. Each other handling Board of Chapter and Sailing Clubs with the numbers of 350 sailor was register as the members of PORLASI.
